| Wisteria Garden and Three Oaks are both family owned and operated B&Bs, and are in two of Marshall's historic mansions.
Three Oaks, was built in 1895 by P.G. Whaley, and Wisteria Garden, circa 1884, was built by Samuel Wood. Both were notable families of Marshall, and the homes reflect that, in their opulence and design. The houses are related by marriage, in 1919, Samuel Wood Jr. married Mamie Whaley, daughter of P. G. Whaley. The tradition and bonding continues today, as the homes are owned by the Vassars, and the Musselmans, who are good friends and cooperate in our separate ventures as B&Bs.
